With the school season in full swing, @ZEROTOTHREE highlights the importance of social-emotional skills for young children as they prepare to enter kindergarten.Organizations focused on families with children ages 0-3 are implementing social-emotional learning (SEL) skills within their programs to promote healthy development. ZERO TO THREE found that “social-emotional development goes hand-in-hand with cognitive development as the bricks and mortar of early brain architecture.”The Turrell Fund proudly supports ZERO TO THREE and its mission to provide resources on a national scale to pave the way for early childhood development. Thank you for all you do! #EarlyChildhood #SocialEmotionalLearning #ChildDevelopment #ZEROTOTHREE

📈 High quality child care improves long-term health, educational outcomes, and future earning potential for children, especially in families with low incomes, yet few NJ families can afford high quality care.👨🏽‍👩🏽‍👧🏽‍👦🏽 The Turrell Fund believes that all New Jersey families should have what they need to make the most of the critical infant and toddler years, like access to safe, nurturing, consistent early care and education. 🤝 So we are proud to be a founding member of NJ’s statewide First 1,000 Days Policy Coalition, along with Rutgers University - Center for Women and Work, Advocates for Children of New Jersey, Moms First, Council of New Jersey Grantmakers, The Burke Foundation, Maher Charitable Foundation, Schumann Fund for New Jersey, the Henry and Marilyn Taub Foundation, and many others. 📰 Read more about the First 1,000 Days Policy Coalition by clicking the link in our bio!
