Dareen Abukwaik serves as the Turrell Fund’s Program Associate. She provides strategic programmatic support to the Fund, its client base and partners through project management and research. Dareen also assists with the social media, website and communications work at the Fund.

Before she officially joined the Fund, Dareen was a Communications and Operations intern. She worked on maintaining the Fund’s Instagram and helping refresh the website. She also assisted with internal and external events on behalf of the Fund.

Dareen graduated with a B.A. in Journalism from Seton Hall University. Dareen believes that early support for children is fundamental, especially in education and early literacy, and looks forward to continuing her work with the Fund.
